January 25: Climb Nashville. Meet at 1:00 at Food Lion. Cost $21 if 1st time climber or under 12. Cost $24 otherwise. Belayers and observers are free. Because of the cost, we are not planning a post-climb meal but families are welcome to gather at Five Points Pizza or make other arrangements. Pack 503 AOLs are welcome to join us and get acquainted with the Troop.

January 26: Meeting w/Pack 503 AOLs. Fire starting (outdoors weather permitting) if not, indoor games.

February 2: PLC. Agenda includes planning the next 3 Troop meetings and discussing the upcoming camp-out at Boxwell. The focus of the meetings will be advancement.

February 7 or 8: Bowling. This is a get together to have fun. The exact date will depend on family and Scout availability.

February 9: Troop Meeting

February 16: No Troop Meeting – Presidents’ Day Holiday

February 23: Troop Meeting. Final plan-out (meals, departure time, etc.) for the camp-out at Boxwell.

February 27-March 1: 2-night camp-out and Merit Badge Weekend at Boxwell.

March 2: PLC. Planning will include details of March 14 hike and cookout. Patrol Leaders will get the information to their patrols and details will be sent by email/text message to families.

March 9: Pack 503 Crossover. This will take the place of our regular Troop Meeting. We’ll have a handout with us to give new families that includes the meeting and activity schedule along with details of the March 14 hike.

March 14 (Might need to move this to March 28 due to Spring Break conflict. If families are going to be in town and still want to have it on this date, we certainly can.): 2 mile hike at Long Hunter State Park followed by cookout lunch. This is to facilitate bonding between new Scouts and the rest of the Troop.

March 14-22: CMCSS Spring Break. No meeting on March 16.

March 30: Troop Meeting. Plan-out for April 10-12 camp-out.

April 10-12: Camp-out (2 nights) and Merit Badge Weekend at Pfeffer Reservation. This will help the Scouts get acquainted with Pfeffer Reservation as well as getting camping days and earning merit badges.
